If you’re not already a fan of strawberries, you should be. Not only are they juicy, summery and delicious, they’re a bona fide superfood, too.It is cultivated worldwide for its fruit. The fruit (an aggregate accessory fruit) is widely appreciated for its characteristic aroma, bright red color, juicy texture, and sweetness. It is consumed in large quantities, either fresh or in such prepared foods as preserves, fruit juice, pies, ice creams, milkshakes, and chocolates. Artificial strawberry flavorings and aromas are also widely used in many products like lip gloss, candy, hand sanitizer, perfume, and many others. Nutrient-rich and packed with antioxidants (like vitamin C), strawberries offer a wide range of health benefits like decreased cardiovascular disease risk and that phytochemicals present in strawberries have anti-inflammatory or anticancer properties. Now we are going to see a summer refreshing drink.

Ice cubes- 4nos
Sugar/Honey - as needed
Lemon - 2 slices
Mint leaves- 4 to 5 nos
Ginger - 4 small pieces

Ingredients
Strawberry - 7 to 8nos
Chilled water - 1/2 glass
Ice cubes- 4nos
Sugar/Honey - as needed
Lemon - 2 slices
Mint leaves- 4 to 5 nos
Ginger - 4 small pieces

Method:
- First chop the fruit and add it to a mixer / blender.
- Add the sugar,water and finely chopped ginger to the fruit pieces and blend it well. When it's fully smashed add juice from 1 lemon slice and the ice cubes and give it one pulse. Sugar can be replaced with honey.
- Serve it in a glass with finely chopped mint leaves on top of the glass. You can also add 1lemon slice to it.
- Enjoy the cooler !!!
