Avacado Paratha

Avacado Paratha :


Avocados are rich in monounsaturated fat, the heart-healthy kind. Yet scientists are now more interested in the active compounds in avocados that might help prevent cancer. One study found that those compounds can inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells in the laboratory. While conducting the study, these researchers found avocados are loaded with a variety of antioxidants, including familiar disease-fighting compounds such as lutein, beta-carotene,& vitamin E.

Now I am going to show u the preparation of Avacado Parathas. Its the same as Aloo paratha and etc etc...

                                       Ingredients For the Dough:

Wheat Flour/Atta - 1 cup

Sugar - 1/4 tbsp

Butter - 1/2 tsp (optional)

Salt - 1/4 tbsp

                                       Ingredients For the Filling:

Avacado - 1no

Onion - 1 chopped

oil -to fry

Coriander leaves - little

Salt - 1/4 tbsp


Pepper - 1/4tbsp

Green chilly - 1 nos

 Method:

  • First mash the avacado well with salt and pepper. Take a pan and saute the finely chopped onions, green chillies and cilantro leaves and add to the fruit mixture.
  • Roll them into small balls and set aside.
  • Take the flour add the needed salt, sugar and butter and mix well. Mix it a soft dough as for paratha and make it to small balls. .
  • Take one ball and roll it flat into a small circle and place the avacado ball at the centre of the circle and fold it from all sides into a money bag.

  • Now pat the money bag and roll it into a circle paratha. Roll it softly with full care.
  • Fry the parathas on tawa on a medium heat, with oil on all sides.
  • Serve hot with chutney!!!
